News Update

Before introducing our first mini event, we'd like to preface it a bit as ToW has had a lot going on behind the scenes lately! We've been working hard on the final touches of our shift, and while they are close to be being done, we're not quite comfortable releasing them rushed and will be giving ourselves a bit more time before the final change happens. We will be picking a new release date sometime today and be letting everyone know our plan as soon as possible!

The good news however is that we have reached OVER 500 Aether in the aether pool, and it is time for our first mini event! This event is going to be a smaller scale than our future events, which will be intense plot pushes and have a ton of admin involvement. However, we think this small event will be a ton of fun and encourage everyone to take part!

Emberblood is in the lead with a whopping 202 Aether points collected by the herd

Summers Song

Welcome to Tales of Wanderlust’s first Mini Event!!! This event is a great way for your characters to make friends or even enemies! Here in Tales of Wanderlust summer has arrived and with it comes a sweet song, a song of heat, and adventure. Do you have what it takes to survive the Summer’s Song? Find out by completing prompts alone or with a partner! Earn Aether to give your character new privileges, and earn witch glass to buy your character items in the shop as it grows!

Rules
-Each herd has their own prompts and your equine can only do their herds prompt
-You can only do each prompt once!
-Normal Aether is earned for each image.
-Each image for the prompt needs to be a full body with a simple background
-Collabs are welcomed and encouraged!

Rewards
- Participating in this mini event will earn you 5 base Witch Glass
- Adding another player's character (fullbody) into your image = +2 WG per character
Collabing with another person on the image = +5 WG to both artists
Basing an image of an rp scene with the minimum of 5 post each = +10 WG

Gather around a bard, to hear their tales of old and new. Allow them to sweep you up in their story of delight and chivalry! Show us your character enjoying the tales of the Bard!

Summer evenings provide an escape from the heat, cooling off of the day and seems to be a great time for equines of the olde to practice their jousting! Even foals and elderly alike, have a go at it, enjoying the fun attitude of it all! Show us either your character participating in the game, or perhaps watching from the sideline.

Too hot to be out in the hot summer for long, many seek shade and it seems those within the shade have taken up times of songs, allowing their voices to fill the heat filled air. Does the music make you sway, or are their voices as noisy as the birds? Show us how your character deals with all this singing in the heat of day.

The summer heat has allowed the morning to be showered in an eerie fog, show us how you move around in the morning in this spooky atmosphere, be careful who knows what lurks in the unknown

Warm weather and starry filled skies - it seems like summer nights are the best time to huddle together to tell grand stories, or maybe even make up one! Show us your character enjoying a story or perhaps telling their own.

Can’t stand the heat? The sun’s rays have become too much? Why not take a dip in the rivers and enjoy the cool water! Show us your character soaking it up alone, or having a good time with others in the water.

Along with a heatwave, multiple storms seem to be developing in the distance, until the rain finally comes crashing down. Though much needed and perhaps a good way to cool off, a week-long storm can get tiresome. Show us how you enjoy or merely cope with these showers!

As the heat continues to swelter during the day, the night seems to have developed much more activity for both equines and other creatures alike. The tenderfoot specifically, have made a habit of catching jar-fulls of fireflies. They make for a neat decoration! How many lightning bugs can you get your hooves on?

A few Legions have taken it upon themselves to brighten up the herd’s atmosphere with a song or two! It sure makes the day much more enjoyable, even with such a strong summer sun. Show us how your character enjoys the music, or doesn’t at all

Summer is here with vengeance, so much so the sweet swamp many lurk in, has became a nesting ground with bugs! From gnats to mosquito there is no escape! Show us who your equine gets away from these bloodsuckers!

The heat wave that spreads across the swampy domain seemed to aggravate the crocs the live within them. They seem highly aggressive and more active now, have they grown in number? Seems the Queen is interested in adding some new skulls to the shelf, lets see the biggest croc you can nab in this summer heat!

Not all is bad in the swamp, with summer and more sun, it seems more plants are coming to life. Even those that love battle can enjoy the beauty that has come over the swamp, show us your favorite place in this overgrown paradise for kelpies!

We admins would like to thank our members for sticking with us thus far. We have high hopes for all the changes being finalized, and seeing members interact and begin our story. The future will bring some fun things, like the release of LAPS and the opportunity for your character to rise. Thank you for your support through everything thus far, and we can't wait to release the final changes. We encourage you to rp or collab with one random person during this event, and seek to make new friends <3
